A few weeks ago, the girls and I were in Salt Lake and stopped by the Humane Society in Salt Lake to look at dogs to adopt. I have been wanting a dog for the girls and I for awhile and have been afraid to get one because of my allergies. My sister adopted a dog from the Humane Society a few weeks ago and she was happy with him she so we thought we would check it out. It didn't take us very long and we found Annie. Hailee immediately fell in love with her and we took her outside to spend a little time with her. She was great with the kids and she seemed to like me so, we adopted her!!!! She is an older black lab and is house broken, great with the girls and stays by our sides no matter what. She has been a great addition to our family and we are so happy to have her. I feel she was truly meant to be ours. They say that a dog chooses its owners and I think that we all did very well. She is a great comforter, protector, friend, playmate and companion. Thank you Humane Society!!!! 
And just to let you all know, my allergies have been great with her and we really haven't had any problems!!
